Showmax have ********** opened up a showmax Google account for someone that I don't know. They even took off a showmax Google debit order off my bank. I have been trying to sort this matter out for 2 months with DSTV and the one is as useless as the other one. I send a email to showmax as I have been told that they are not part of DSTV and I got a reference number for reporting the ***** on my showmax account. They do not have offices nor contact staff you can talk to. You have to go on live chat and when I put my name in out pops my PASSWORD!!!!!! Last month I had to report it to the SAPS and my bank ***** department. I am still waiting for my refund. But there is a big catch with showmax Google even if someone has committed ***** you have to give a 30 days cancellation notice and they don't refund your money. They also can not tell you who is using your account. I have just received a email from the following email address - ***. Telling me my Showmax Google is up and ready to view by some stranger I don't know. Now once again I have to pay the showmax Google bill this month. I think that ***** is being committed between Showmax and DStv and believe it or not DSTV does not have a ***** department. All our personal information is freely used between Showmax and DStv. And when you want to stop the ***** no one answers, puts the phone down, never phones back or can my showmax at home. So now I am sitting without Showmax. I think that an investigation should be done between Showmax and DStv. I don't even pay for showmax I have the full view. Now some asshole from either Showmax or DSTV is going to contact me again. Make false promises and take no action. I urge the public to please stay away from DSTV the POPPY act does not apply to them and your personal information is being shared even your banking details between Showmax and DSTV. Where did showmax get my personal and banking information.... It was not from me. You can not call Showmax to speak to a agent nor do they have a office. Showmax where did you get my personal information from I never gave it to you. YOU ARE ******** people
