Showmax is a big ****

Showmax pro is one of the worst apps in South Africa, or even globally. Many smart TVs, including those mentioned on their website, do not support the app. My initial thought was that I was the only one experiencing a malfunctioning app, but countless others have reported the same issue. Their support service is pathetic, which makes matters worse. They sometimes give you wrong answers to customer questions because their staff is clueless.

There is no improvement with the mobile app, I have tried updating it several times without success. Eventually, I deleted the app, but I cannot reinstall it for some strange reason

When you consider that the app doesn't work most of the time, the R300 price they charge is a bit steep. There is nothing good about Showmax's content either. DSTV shows are repeated, and old boring movies are shown. In my opinion, they should just be available on DSTV, because they are ripping us off as customers.
