Showmax freezes all the time!!!

I have had a showxmax for a couple of years, with no worries, no hassles. This year I have been experiencing problems with showmax occasionally failing to connect to servers and showing a black screen, all whilst I'm watching a show, next thing it will just freeze whilst watching. I don't know what is going on but it is really annoying because I often have to restart the app, I can no longer enjoy a show until I am done watching. This is really ridiculous, as I am paying too much money for such poor service!
