<p>So..... Big news articles say showmax now gaurantees lower bandwidth usage with setting options............really??????.</p> <p>I joined showmax just because of this, use the app on my Lg TV to watch. I go and set my setting to "low", supposedly 300mb per hour as advertised. After my son watches 10 minutes and 11 seconds of a cartoon 123 mb used. So I do what we will all do. I start a live chat with Zinzi at showmax as there is no number to actually talk to a human. She tells me to send proof......really? Now I am a lier! I send a mail with the proof. They then write back to me saying they have no control over usage and use an adaptive technology that senses internet speed and cannot help. So why have settings ????????????????????. Really why advertise stuff YOU DO NOT OFFER!!! They just want people to sign up as they are leaving in droves to other suppliers. Netflix here I come. Showmax an answer as to why your advertised setting do not work please??.</p>
