Out-of-date app spoils it
<p>We signed up for Showmax and were very excited about everything that is available and about the fact that you can stream on more than one device. We went out to buy an ATV495X Android device to connect to our TV. This type of device is listed on their website, but now the Showmax app does not work on our TV! Netflix and all the other apps we play through the TV work perfectly. <br />Upon enquiry, Showmax nonchonantly told us that this specific model is not supported and that they "are working on the problem". They could not tell us how long that will take. </p> <p>I am cancelling my Showmax subscription now and I will be warning all my friends about this issue. </p>
