False advertising
On the 11th of November I signed up for the 14 day trial... when the 14 days ended one would naturally assume that it would be up to me the user to decide whether I would want to continue using the service or not but for some reason I can't understand showmax assumed that I was going to continue using their services and as a result they tried debiting my bank account, which had no money since, it's an account I use occasionally but to my surprise showmax tried debiting 15 times so now my account has raked up about R127.50 in bank charges and when I deposited money into my account they debit R99 from my account. I last used their services on the 14 the day of the trial. Who gave you authorization to debit my account beyond the 14 days? And what does TRAIL mean???

Really sorry that you experienced this. In the terms and conditions on the website, point 10.2. It states your subscription will run monthly after your trial period if you do not cancel it. Please, can you private message us your email address used for sign up and confirm a contact number where we may reach you on.

Even if that may be the case the transaction failed 15 times, surely when it failed the 3rd time, that must be an indication maybe I'm not interested or the account doesn't have money or the fact that I stopped using the service on the last day of the trial, can't hide behind the terms and conditions, do you see me telling you to read my terms and conditions of which you agreed to by allowing me to use your services???
