Be aware

I signed up for the 14 days free showmax because I wanted to try it out for the sports & news channel. The website dont allow you to sign up for the free trial without uploading your banking details. Straight after I signed up I wanted to watch football just to find out I can't and I have to sign up for a higher package(I took the minimum amount package). I immediately contacted them via their chat and their website to cancel my subscription because there is nothing else I am interested in watching on showmax except the sports & news channel. They told me I can't and I have signed up for the 3months package. I told them I am not interested in anything else and I only wanted the 14day free trial package. They told me I can't. They had no problem taking money out of my account immediately. It was not as if I watched for a whole week and then decided to cancel it, I immediately wanted to cancel. It's just a way for showmax to bind people for "x" amount to them. I will not recommend showmax to anybody and don't be fooled by the 14 day free trial.
