Very poor quality of product and service receieved from Showerline.

A relatively new showerline shower door (1year 1 month) collapsed on my 3 year old son who landed up in hospital. There was no damage to the door prior or any knock what so ever, it literally just crumbled all over him when my wife opened the shower door - luckily for us he was standing up as it happened. After examining the parts I found one of the brackets had snapped which probably caused the glass to kink which then made it shatter during opening. I have tried to make contact with Showerline who are totally disinterested - they wont even call me back. I realize its one month out of warranty but how can a 10K+ shower door last just over 1 year and be so dangerous in the process?! I obviously need this fixed but I cannot go to Showerline as their service and products are so bad - I would if they could give me a proper explanation as to how/why this happened.
