Shocking service
<p>I requested assistance to have a temporary shower door fitted at my place - asked for the timeframe and was told 2 weeks – it’s just a shower door that needs to be made and fitted, very simple door. Received quote and paid the deposit - they require 50% before they even start on the door and the remaining 50% before they even step foot on your property to install - this should raise some red flags. I called the sales guy in the 4th week and he was surprised that I was calling as He thought everything should have been installed and was surprised I was calling - He would find out and get back to me - I get a call from a lady who very sarcastically tells me that my shower door is ready for installation and can’t understand what the problem is after I explained her my situation. Many other companies out there that offer a much better service so DO NOT USE SHOWERLINE.</p>

It is very seldom that we experience a negative outcome and with over 30 years experience in manufacturing, supplying and installing toughened glass products to the market, adhering to SANS guidelines, we have established a brand synonymous with quality and service in the market.
Investigating the background of your complaint - our Consultant said he would do his best to speed up your order - however please note lead times at best are estimated and have to be adhered too. These terms are agreed to on signature of order.
The matter of an order being a simple door replacement versus a bespoke multiple panel installation does not reduce the lead time, we do not stock standard products, each order follows the same process once in our manufacturing system.
We are sure you can understand this from an organisational perspective. Further to that, whilst your request was for a simple door - Showerline backs up our quality guarantee, our products are proudly manufactured and not imported, hence we can offer aftermarket service to clients - even on showers that are 30 years old. This is not something readily available in today's market.
Payment of deposit is standard procedure for any order in a manufacturing process. Payment before installation was a business decision taken by Directors to safeguard business continuity in a stressed economy, hence we have been able to keep an established, reliable businesses doors open and employ s****ed South Africans.
We are sorry for your frustration in this regard nd assure you that Showerline is a well-respected business with a long history of product and service delivery to South Africans.
