Unable to complete job and walked out

In 2004 I unfortunately entered into an agreement with Shorts Lifts to install a lift at my home in Woodhill, Pretoria. Started early 2005. Work was seldom inspected and I had to ask Mr Walls on various occasions to visit the installation which was below standard in my opinion. Due to their unableness to fit the lift in the shaft I paid in February 2006 an additional R20000.00 for certain alterations which was never completed. In November the installation was inspected by legally prescribed inspectors and duly condemned. From this time on Shorts Lifts tried periodically throughout the next years to complete the job without any success. In June 2013 Mr Walls informed me that the electricity current, which never changed since their initial quotation, was too low . I had the power supply inspected and gave their findings, namely that everything was in order, to Mr Walls. He rep**** by email that the current was unacceptable to him and and that he is sorry, but can not do anything further. They walked out on me taking the lift motor with them to check, but was never returned .. Space prohibits a full report but I am willing give a detailed report on Twitter if necessary.
