Worms in white star maize meal

On the 6th Feb 2020 I bought 5kg white star maize meal at shoprite Bara mall, same day I cooked it while I was half way eating I discovered worms in my food, I checked in the bag of maize meal I founded more moving worms, but it was not expired, an hour later became sick. Took back next morning they refunded me and called pioneer food where they gave me the phone and asked me to tell the lady on the phone my story then the lady asked me to take back the maize meal home and promised they Wil send somebody to come to my and collect it so they can send it for tests, I told her I was going to see the Dr as I was not feeling well she asked me to keep Dr's note for them. A week passed they didn't come or call me until I contacted them on the 11th a lady from pioneer food told they dont collect small packages they only collect from 10kg I told her I became ill after eating it and I went to the doctor she asked what do I want them to do which made me very surprised I asked what about other people who Wil buy that same batch and get ill from it are they not suppose to send it for tests,she told me they sent me R100 voucher which I never used it as am worried about my health. I then contacted shoprite head office I spoke with Megan she asked me to send her the pictures of the worms in the maize meal and my Dr's note, I did and she neva got back to me, I then sent a email to customer service someone contacted me she also asked me to email the Dr's note and I did. She contacted me and ask me if I did the test as they need the results I told her I don't have money to go to the specialist I only went to the Gp. She called me again and told me the case was closed because pioneer food told them they gave me a voucher. This left me very confused I still have the maize meal with worms in my house even shoprite does not care about their costomers health
