What is the purpose for the receiving area?

A SAB truck parked on the parking lot making it difficult to move my car , I beleive Shoprite has a designated area for receiving goods not a car parking lot. Waisted 10 munites of my precious time arguing with the truck crew making me look like and Idiot.
