Usave Elliot Quality Control

Yesterday, 21 July 2020, I bought a pack of Regal chocolates from Usave Elliot (Eastern Cape). When I arrived at home and opened one of the chocolates, I saw that it was expired (white, waxy texture), I checked the best before date on the packet and it had already expired in December 2018. I would like to bring to the attention of the shopowners, managers and customers of Usave the lack of quality control in their shops. How can they allow a product that has been expired for a year and a half to still be sold? Where are the stock controllers? It's not the customers job to check expiration dates, and just because the shop is located in a small rural town does not mean that the standard of quality can be this low. Are we supposed to be satisfied with this standard of service or will something be done about it?
