Urgent Complaint – Mould Found in Cheddar Cheese Purchased at Shoprite KwaThema Mini Centre

Dear Shoprite Customer Service,

I hope you are well.

I am writing to report a serious quality concern regarding a food product I recently purchased at the Shoprite KwaThema Mini Centre store.

I purchased Crystal Valley Cheddar Cheese, and upon opening the sealed package I discovered visible green mould on the cheese along the edge. This was very concerning as the product appeared properly sealed and should have been safe for consumption.

As a consumer, I trust that products sold at Shoprite meet proper food safety and quality standards. Finding mould in cheddar cheese that is not meant to contain mould raises concerns about product quality control and storage conditions.

I have photographs of the product showing the mould and can provide them for your investigation. I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated urgently and advise how it will be resolved.
