Unfair Treatment at Shoprite – Palm Springs Shopping Mall

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at the Shoprite in Palm Springs Shopping Mall/Stretford. While I was patiently standing in line to pay, a lady wearing a PEP uniform walked straight past the queue and paid at the till without even asking. Just because she works at PEP, she was allowed to bypass all the customers who had been waiting – and shockingly, the ShopRite staff allowed it.

What makes it worse is that this happened after working hours. She could have joined the queue like everyone else, but instead, she went straight to the cashier and was assisted immediately. It felt like customers who don’t work at the mall are being disrespected and treated as less important.

Is this standard practice at Shoprite – to let mall staff skip the queue? If so, it’s completely unfair and unacceptable. All paying customers deserve equal treatment, regardless of where they work. I truly hope ShopRite at Palm Springs Mall takes this seriously and puts an end to this kind of behavior.
