Unexpected Item sold from Shoprite Ryder Street in Port Shepstone.

On the 17th May 2020, I bought few groceries from Shoprite Ryder Street in Port Shepstone and among these grocery there was this chicken tray that was marinated. We went home to make super and also dished out for the next day's lunch. As we were about to have our late lunch, my wife informed me that the chicken pieces had some smell that she did not understamd, and that's after she had her piece. I tried mine and noticed that that chicken tray was well off; it was not good for consumption and I immediately put all in my lunch box with my rice that was ready for the next day's lunch. On the next say, today, 18th May 2020, at 07:58, I went back to the same store just across the road and spoke with Mr Tirag Khan, of which was a manager on duty and I outlined my problem to him and he requested to see that chicken tray and I immediately fetched it from my car.

He then said that he'll take that to his butchery manager and will come back to me. Since I was on duty, just 10 feet from him, at around 11:00 he came to my workplace with 1. Another fresh chicken tray for the same value; 2. Delicious lunch box for my lunch and 3. He unconditionally apologised for the whole thing and also wished me to enjoy my lunch.

I was amased by the way he handle this situation and to me he was so professional. Let alone the lunch box itself, but the mere fact that he was polite, listening to me attentively, never argued, never denied anyrhing. I SALUTE YOU Mr T. Khan and so wish that you carry on doing the same to all customers.

I so wish that his superiors could really share this experience with him and pass my sincerely thanks to him. Sometimes it's so good and encouraging to hear such compliments from your master.
