Unacceptable Behaviour from Cashier at Shoprite Joubert Street

I had a terrible experience at the Shoprite Joubert Street branch on the morning of 9 May 2025. I approached the cashier, Silindile, to request a Capitec cash back. She just stared at me without responding. When I asked if she could assist me, she immediately became aggressive — raising her voice, interrupting me, and telling me she didn’t care about my issue.

To make things worse, she started complaining to the customer behind me in the queue about how annoyed she was, right in front of me. When I said I would report her, she told me she didn’t care and even dared me to go ahead.

She spent about 15 minutes shouting instead of assisting me, which caused an unnecessary delay and led me to leave the store without any help. I was shocked by the level of unprofessionalism and disrespect.

I hope Shoprite will take this complaint seriously and address this unacceptable behaviour. Customers should never be treated this way.
