Turkey expried 9 months ago

I am a regular shoprite customer but On Friday i went shopping for a Turkey at station Plaza shoprite in Mitchells plain. Only to find that the expiration date on the turkey is 07/02/19... It is 9 months old for Goodness sake. Where was it hidden all year around? I was so disgusted. Where are their standards? That is so dangerous to consumers
