Treated Like a ********
I just received a bad treatment from Shoprite at Soshanguve Crossing. I went to do my shopping this morning and had to stand in long queues and after paying for my groceries when i left Shoprite, i was requested for my groceries to be searched at the door by AM Security. I asked why am i supposed to be searched because i have paid for my groceries and my groceries were packed in Shoprite plastics but the security guard asked for the slip.
I told them that i put the slip in one of the plastics and they demand to search my groceries and i felt like i've been treated like a ********. I went to report the matter to the branch manager of the store i think his name is Donald or Ronald but he did nothing to fix the situation. Customers and bystanders were watching while being harrased by security guards removing my groceries from the plastic bags.
I don't understand why are we being treated like this as i've done shopping at several malls in Pretoria and Johannesburg, i've never been searched for anything but the Shoprite at Soshanguve Crossing maybe it is the only Shoprite that does that. We have to stand for long queues to pay for our groceries and even after paying we have to queue to be searched, this is really not on. I am not happy for the way i was treated today and request that this be attended to.
