TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE - EMZIMKHULU SHOPRITE

What a total and utter lack of customer relations from Shoprite Umzimkhulu. My sister in law was told that there is absolutely no money on her gift card. This despite the fact that she has been religiously loading money onto this card from January 2019. She has continually been paying using her debit card, as even her bank statements reveal the same. But today, when she needed to make use of the gift card to purchase some groceries for a funeral, she received the shock of her life at the till, being told that there are absolutely no funds on her gift card. She even produced the monthly invoices she obtained from the money market everytime she loaded money onto her gift card. To make matters worse, the lady dealing with the issue displayed total lack of customer relations when I phoned to enquire on behalf of my sister in law. I was told by this certain "Natasha" from Shoprite in eMzimkhulu that I was "threatening her". That she does not "know me" and I should speak to my sister in law and ask her about the case.

I AM UTTERLY AND TOTALLY DISGUSTED AT THIS KIND OF SERVICE FROM SHOPRITE AND LOOKING AT THE MAJORITY OF REVIEWS HERE ON HELLOPETER, I SEE THE SENTIMENTS ARE NOT ALL THAT POSITIVE REGARDING SHOPRITE.
