******* in Shoprite Dobsonville mall

Yesterday my mother who is 71 years old went to Shoprite Dobsonville mall, as she was shopping, she was approached by the lady inside the store telling her that shoprite is offering pensioners 50% discount. She then told her that she will call the person doing the application form which she did that and the lady wearing blue trousers like shoprite staff, she came and said to her they are going to assis her with the forms but she needs to give them her hand bag so that they can take it to parcel counter. At first my mom said she refused and said she will take the bag to the parcel counter herself but they told her she must trust them, the one with the blue trouser even said to her I wont ton you because I dont want to loose my job. She gave them bag without her cell phone and purse but they insisted that she needs to give them cell phone and purse because magnet will pick up the phone and the purse which is not allowed in that room . She eventually gave them her stuff and said to her she must wait for them at the pharmacy area. But unfortunately they left with the her stuff. We went back to shoprite to report the matter and asked for the footage but shoprite refused which made me suspicious because when we approached security working in shoprite and told her the story, she listened and told us sometimes the cameras dont work and also yesterday Friday the 20th one lady payed at the till, all of a sudden her purse disappeared. She reported the matter and SHOPRITE showed her the footage which only showed her paying but did not show what happened to the purse. I am now thinking that the staff in Shoprite are working with these ******* that is why they are refusing to give us footage. And this incident is not for the first time happening and they know that shoprite is shielding them.
