They are not liable for ****** goods

On 29 February 2016 me and my friend bought eat at fruits and vege market and we went to shoprite to buy other groceries, when we get there we went to parcel counter 2 leave our stuff and when we get there we saw a trolley behind the door and we asked da security lady if we can leave our trolley and she agreed to look after it. By the time I was paying for the groceries I noticed that our trolley was not there, and when we asked where is our trolley, the lady told us that she never saw someone who asked for her trolley to be looked after.after that we asked for the manager and we never got any help and now they say that there is no footage and they cannot refund us because either shoprite or security company is liable for ****** goods. And they also didn't treat us as they should.
