TERRIBLE SERVICE- SHOPRITE NEWTOWN JUNCTION MALL

Shoprite Newtown Junction Mall I'm a regular customer at Shoprite Newtown Junction and what i have noticed is that they never have enough tills open to accomodate peak hours. We stand in long queues with only 3 or 4 tills open in the late afternoon. Totally unacceptable. Well i keep telling myself all businesses have had to cut down on costs maybe and that includes staffing costs. But yesterday the service was absolutely shocking. After standing in a long queue for a while, the lady in front of me had reduced items, the cashier repeatedly tried called out to the manager Sitshengisile Mdluli and the manager just carried on chatting to her friend. She stood at there for a while and completely ignored us until another male manager came to assist after he was finished with what she was doing. She does this quite often, i don't know whether she hates her job, or isn't well- trained, or just doesn't care but it not only frustrates us as customers, but also the poor cashiers who are trying their best to work faster to reduce queues. Something seriously needs to be done about that lady's attitude. We are loyal Shoprite customers, and as customers, all we are asking for is better service.
