STALE PRODUCT

I've shopped at Shoprite for years now. A place that I trust, so much so that I never check the expiration date on the products they sell. To my dismay I found a produc(pack of Nik Naks) that's stale. No wonder they had a special buy 2 for R17. Without realizing we bought 4 pack 3 cheese and 1 chillies cheese flavour. And it is the chillie cheese flavour that's stale and only to find out has no expiring date on it. Does a person now have to check the expiration date on every product that's bought at Shoprite Eldorado Park?

I'm very displeased by this because my daugters were eating it and I only found this out half way through.
