Staff unprotected from COVID-19

This review is not about the customer service but rather the poor protection of staff at the retail stores. The Corona virus is spreading rapidly and yet first responders in the retail industry are not adequately protected from the virus. It is a known fact that there is a rising number of infections. Money has always been a common cause of spreading viruses. In addition, age plays a major factor in the severity of infection. All staff over the age of 50 should be encouraged to take extra precaution. Masks and gloves should be worn by ALL staff, irrespective of age. Disinfectant should be available to all staff members in key areas such as the receiving zones and managing offices. The staff work tirelessly and have the highest risk of infection. The stores are rendering a service while most businesses have taken the precaution to close down. The staff deserve the respect of protection against the pandemic.
