Staff treatment

My review is not about service but I am writing about how as a customer heard how ShopRite Protea Gardens staff is treated by management.

I was at the cashier when my cashier's colleague came to her to collect donation from all staff. The discussion I was privy to shocked me and saddened me that such a company can neglect staff like this.

Staff was donating money to buy themselves a new microwave for their back kitchen because they have been asking for one to long enough to understand that company said they have other major situations to deal with.

I was saddened by the conversation.
