spoilt/rotten meat i purchased

Good day, I've always grown up to miss home cooked meals my mom used to make for me, so this past week i decided to buy the chicken feet at Shoprite in signet tarrace shopping centre in lenesia, I was burdened when I got home the same day to open them and they had a very funny smell, i kept on having an argument with my wife and she also confirmed that these were spoilt/rotten. How do you guys even put such things on the shelf. Now i don't even want to go back to the meal. I have a proof of slip as well as pictures. The least i could do is to receive an apology. ***
