Sickening

In June it was my little sisters birthday and my mom went and bought my sister a cake and cupcakes at Shoprite Ebony park,as we used to enjoy their cakes.Upon my mom arriving with the stuff my daughter than had a cupcake and was on her way with my sister,she than notices that after a little while my daughter lips got swollen and my she sister thought maybe she got hurt earlier on when she was home. My sister than returned with her and I saw her lips,when I asked what happened she stated that she thought she might have gotten hurt when she was home and I told her it couldn't be because I was with her the whole day,I than remembered that the last thing she ate was the cupcake and went to check it,because the swollen lips were getting big and it was turning purple/blue ,I than notices that the cupcakes had expired 2 DAYS AGO. My dad than contacted the manager at the store,who told my dad,we should take her to the doctor,not even a single apology,I than took her to the Doctor and went back to the store,during this period no call from the store or even an apology,I also gave them their cupcakes and the slip back,I than took the invoice to the store like they requested,a month later after chasing them and waiting for the respond, we got a letter from a lawyer stating that SHOPRITE was not at fault. No apology or even our money back that we bought the cupcakes with,I don't understand how selling expired things to customers is not their fault, I'm so sickened by this experience I will never ever buy at SHOPRITE,no matter how cheap they are,I'd rather buy expensive food And be healthy than to die because of cheap rotten food.
