SHOPRITE/CHECKERS HELPING MONEYGRAM COLLECT MUSLIMS PERSONAL DATA!

All South African muslims should be wary of using Shoprite to send money overseas. Shoprite and Shoprite Checkers are working with MoneyGram, which is an American company based in the US. It seems MoneyGram is collecting data about any muslim sending or receiving money from another muslim, anywhere in the world. I recently had a bad experience where money I sent to my nephew in Zanzibar, Tanzania, using Shoprite Send, was held by MoneyGram due to "compliance issues". Nobody, either at Shoprite, Checkers or MoneyGram could tell me what this "compliance issue" was. Instead Shoprite Checkers Customer Support gave me an American number to call and an american person from MoneyGram Support asked me to email them ALL my contact details including my Recipient (my nephew) details, my name, parents name, and grand-parents name, my country of birth and citizenship, and where I currently reside, including my ID/Passport number and personal phone number. These rules were also demanded of my nephew, who was supposed to receive the funds. The cash sent was less than 500 Rands! This means, an American company, with the help of Shoprite/Checkers, is busy collecting data about South African muslims, who try to send money to each other overseas. Why is the SA government allowing this??
