Shoprite will cheat you with their 1 year guarantee! Be careful of their **** appliances!

Beware of Shoprite's one year warranty ! In 2016 May 26, I bought an electric heater at Shoprite Mount Frere. It worked perfectly until it was 11 months, I received a text from home as I was out of the country with the slip in my wallet so they couldn't return it instead I summoned them to buy another heater. It was on 21 April 2017 and requested them to keep the slip. I came back a month later to find both heaters one dead and the other one working perfectly. On the 3rd of May it died. A few days later I went to the store to report this and they had received no heaters by then. I went there again and was told the same. On the third occasion the lady who understood my frustration was no longer available. This is disheartening. It means that their appliances are for a year and I think that is intentional. This goes for your Ottimo iron that I bought on the 04/03/2017 and died on the 10/04/2018. I've never experienced this wth all my other appliances. I suggest that Shoprite be banned from selling appliances and just concentrate on foods and groceries. You are actually ripping us off ungodlessly. The receipt numbers are: #0110 #0526 Something needs to be done otherwise Shoprite is making money from cheating. Listed on the JSE for all I care for nothing! I'm willing to tell the whole world about this. How can you! Knowing that the people of the EC we are the poorest! This needs to be addressed. I've kept all my proofs for I wanted to be sure that it was not only my imagination that we're being **********.
