Shoprite Thabkng (04/01/2026)

04/01/2026 around 15:10 / 15:15... I was at Shoprite Thabong, in Sebokeng, i wanted to grab a few things, as i jeaded to the till point, there was a disturbance on their power supply, they shortly announced that people who are going to make account payments (avon, DSTV, Pay@ , etc) won't be able to pay, so i proceeded to the till point, the cashier asked if I'll be oaying cash or card, i said card, i was told that only cash payments are being taken...

My disappointment is that, shoprite as big as it is doesn't have an offline card machine like other stores??? Like i had to go to a different store, start all over again to do my shopping... That's very disappointing 😭😭😭😭 and inconvenient... So whenever we go to shoprite, we should pray that power stays un-interupted even though they know that we sometime face load reduction....
