Shoprite slip and no employee interest

At 10.51, 5 February 2023, my mother fills a 5l water at the water tank provided Shoprite Southfield / Plumstead. As she is done she steps back and as she steps, she slips in a train of water that has gathered at the front of the tank and footsteps of previous customers are evident. The water has obviously been there for a while. No slip sign. No warning or cleaner in sight. My mother manages to catch herself from falling completely flat. She then turns to the kiosk, before she could do that another customer calls the kiosk for a manager and cleaner. There is a employee Sade at the warm foods counter standing looking at my mother like she is some kind of idiot for slipping and has this smirk on her face. (Employee was obviously going on tea or lunch) and this little mishap was not part of her job description to assist a customer. The proper thing to do would be to assist and assess the customer, make the environment safe, have your warning signs up and then proceed with your break. Instead Sade smirks and walks on past my mother watching my mother who was frantic and walks on with her food n smirk. Then another manager Melissa finally assists and apologized on Sades behalf. This is UNACCEPTABLE from Shoprite staff. There are many elderly people In this store. My mother is 63. The injuries that could have occurred could have been worse off. And obviously the staff have little to no interest in the safety of there customers. Not realizing what a impact this could have if I proceed with a claim. No incident report nothing. The manager Melissa managed after 6 mins 10.56am to get a sign and cleaner to clean the water up. I am disgusted with the level of care or concern for customers. The staff need training for customer care and for protocol of injury. Melissa tried to remedy the situation however I have little to no respect for employees such as Sade.
