Shoprite Pension ******* an Inside Job

Today my 70 years old mother went to collect her pension from Shoprite @ Soshanguve Crossing. After her payout she was ****** of her entire payout inside the store. When she reported the matter to the security guards on duty, she was told that the cameras on the side of the payouts were not functional and that was it. I am suprised that the following did not happen:

1. No assistance from the Security guards.

2. No assistance from Management

3. Although she lives less than 5kms form Shoprite, she had to call my brother who works in Atterbury to come take her home.

5. To add insult to injury She was made to waited outside the store for my brother traumatised as she was.

4. Why does Shoprite accept the responsibility of pension payouts when they cannot even secure the site from where the money is being paid out.

5. Why was the SAPS not called to assist?

6. Is there collussion between staff and the *********? The don"t care attitude suggests that.

This is a 70 yrs old woman and Shoprite did not even worry about how she was going to get home after such a traumatic event. So this means we come into your stores to be ****** and on top of that suffer the insult of being searched at the door by the security guards while ********* roam free inside the store?

Or is the ******** element part of the staff complement. The attitude of your staff certainly suggest so.

I am very dissapointed at Shoprite. Surely you can do better than this. DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!
