SHOPRITE : MOUNT EDGECOMBE : COVID PROTOCOLS IS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TO THIS STORE .

I visted SHOPRITE in mount Edgecombe on Monday afternoon the 6 September 2021. To to astonishment I notice that shoppers were just walking into the STORE with NO COVID protocols followed whatsoever . Whilst a SANITISER machine was in the main entrance there were nobody monitoring it to ensure that shoppers were sanitised and that the necessary socail distancing is followed when queing at the cashiers to check out. The MANAGEMENT of this STORE needs to take full ACCOUNTABILTY for this . This is a sad state of affairs during a deadly PANDEMIC . Its NOT only about business and profits . Its also the SAFETY of customers and STAFF. SHOPRITE has dropped the ball . PLEASE FOR HEAVENS SAKE , WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE.
