Shoprite Maynard mall Wynberg poses a health hazard to the consumer

This shoprite deserves no star at all. I am writing solely on the condition of the shop. It poses a health hazard to the customers because it's very very very dirty. The veg and fruit are rotten , the meat in the fridge has a rotten smell. I was there today to buy still water but I couldn't because the smell from the beverage drinks is very horrible, I have a headache as I am writing this review.

The environment health department needs to go inspect this shoprite.Also the management of shoprite Maynard mall in Wynberg-western cape,should do their duly best to ensure that the shop is cleaned. The quality of products is safe for consumers. I am even afraid to buy food from this shoprite because I suspect I might be sick after consuming it.

This is a very big problem because it's a health hazard. Not so long ago our country was fighting the polony virus( listeriosis), my concern as a south African citizen and as a customer of this shoprite is that it may pose a risk or be a potential breeding ground for such viruses. How are we then suppose to move forward as a country when there are people who intentionally put our lives at risk through negligence?

Of course I left without buying the water because the 5liters bottles were very dirty I couldn't even check the pH of the water. Even if the pH was visible I wouldn't trust that it's safe for me to consume it.

I don't understand how something that is usually very low maintenance as bottled water can be so difficult to keep in a good condition, to a point where I'm concerned to consume it. Shoprite should really look into upholding the health standard of this country, they are infringing our right to healthy food.
