shoprite manager disgustingly rude
We went to shoprite town centre last week to buy some stuff for our kids. It was sunday and the last day of the weekend special. We saw kitkat chocs priced at r10 each and decided to buy 40 chocs seeing that its the last day of the promo and the store closes at 13h00 . Now just a reminder there was no limit on the tv ad nor the pamphlet in store. The cashier called on the manager to ask if its fine because its the last day of the sale. This manager MRS MARS, came up to us without even greeting just abruptly telling us we cant have that amount its too much. When i asked her why it wasnt published about the limit because the other chocs had limit on all she said was 'we can change the limit in store whenever we want' and she left. This lady had no manners nor know how to communicate with customers. She was blatently rude and thought the store belonged to her the way she spoke to us. Weve been doing our shopping at this store fr over 30 years if not longer and never had a manager of this rude nature speaking to us asif we were nothing but filth. We asked to speak to another store manager who decided to show us right at the back of the pamphlet written in the smallest fine print that they could limit any stock. Now he didnt even go check if there was more stock in their warehouse he just said we could only take 20 for the most because he must think of others customers aswell. please man, its the last day of the sale and the store closes early so what customers was he talking about. now how stupid can these people be because we bought 20 each and still landed up with our 40 chocs but the service was pathetic and for customers that only shop for so long at their store its disgusting to be so mannerless for a manager
