Shoprite Maitland

I would like to report an incident at Shoprite Maitland.

My husband and I were doing some shopping and on exiting the store a Xmas treee that was placed on a table at the door fell over when I passed. The tree hit my face. I managed to get hold of the top of the tree but the rest of it collapsed and fell. My face has been left scratched.

I am extremely unhappy at the negligence of the store as the tree was not secured at all. This could have resulted in my eye being damaged as the scratch is just below my eye.

I have reported the incident to management at the store but have to go to work tomorrow with my face scratched open and nothing was done about the situation besides the report that I had to write.

I need a response to this please?
