Shoprite, lower prices for less. Disrespect for free.

Shoprite Bishop Lavis, A kettle that a bought two months ago is continously giving problems. Occasionally it just boils and does not switch off. I tried returning it after it over-boiled and could've possibly had more serious consequences. It boiled and stopped there. (occasional, like I said) I requested to speak to the store manager who seemed more interested on picking a song on Google play and accused me of lying, telling my mother that it was not her right to tell anyone what happened to her and her experience and and had an extremely condescending attitude. Besides all these the situation made me very uncomfortable as the room we were in was extremely small less than 4 m2 and 2 of his supordinates were not wearing masks. Will send an email to customer service. By far the worst experience that I've had.
