Shoprite Langa, in the Western cape selling expired pies and rats are treated as customers

11 of November went shopping at Shoprite, Cape Town, township of Langa. They has selling pies for R6 which where expired on the 7th of November. Because its a poor community, customers do not check the prices but saw it as bargain. When questioning the manager of the store he told me something that I could not understand that there was something wrong with the price sticker dates. The original price was R15 and the expiring date was 11 of November. The reduced price was R6 and the expiring date was 7 of November. He could not understand himself his own explanation. while he was busy explaining two rats where breads are packed were running following one another.
