Shoprite caters to a certain demographic in particular - but not exclusively - and offers a surprising selection of imported goods at reasonable prices. There are also conveniently packaged ready to eat fruits and fruit salads, pre-prepped veggies for that quick cook and so forth.

The first week of a month can be a nightmare for the uninitiated as grants are paid, but there again, people are treated with dignity, given seating and an orderly queuing system. It is just a part of the various money market and booking services available to the public.

This is where the alert management is hands on, ironing out the kinks and clearing blockages. People like Admin Manager, Fikiswa Nogula at Shoprite Kokstad, who is a ball of friendly efficiency who will attend to any query personally, not reassign it to someone else, even if it's a mislabeling or pricing query.
