Shoprite hiking prices

As a recident of south africa, i grew up knowing shorite/chekers and am a customer for all my life. I qm very disapointed in the supermarket chain for how they are treating their customers in this unpresidented times. I was very suprised yo go into the local ikageng store to find most of the prices had gone up by atleast 40%. South africans have supported the company relentlessly over the years and deserved a little sympathy in a time like this but these guys only see an oppotunity to make money. Where is the south african spirit and where is the government to protect the already jobless citizens.
