Shoprite gugulethu store are ******s staring from employees to management

Shoprite Gugulethu store. On 31/7/22 my bpyfriend went to but there the specail for 2ltr Sunflower oil, 10kg Snowflake flour, 10kg Iwisa maize meal, 2x 5kg Tastic rice for R379and other items such as 2.5kg hullets sugar . He was with my son 11year old son who was crying for a toy car so my boyfriend was distracted by him. The cashier which was the guy took advantage of that and after scanning the items on the till he did not pack the fish oil as well as the 2.5kg sugar. My boyfriend notices that just after coming out of the store and had to return back. He was sent to kiosk and they checked the till slip and was then told to unpack evwrything so that they would scan the items from scratch.

He then unpacked and now was given only the fish oil as he did not notice the sugar until he arrived at home when I asked him. He went back yesterday 1/8/22 and the cashier had a day off and they checked the cameras and they told him they will do a lie detector with the cashier and took his contacts. They told him to come back today to fetch the sugar as the cashier confessed he did not pack the paid suger on purpose and was then fired. Now the issue is all shoprite in the western cape have special on some of their items which is valid from 25 july 2022 till 9 august 2022 but the very same store in Gugulethu mall says it does not apply to their branch. What kind of day ******* is this? From their employees to the management. Something needs to be done. They taking advantage now of the elderly since its the old age sassa grant today and they do not care for all their employees.
