Shoprite Ext 16 Protea Glen
I bought groceries including fruits and veggies at Shoprite Ext 16 Protea glen, the following morning on my way to work I took out a banana only to find it is open and rotten at the back, then i checked the plastic only to find most of the banana open and some not in a state to be sold to customers and I didnt see whilst at the shjop or else I would never buy such nonsense. then later afterwork i returned them, the lady who assisted me didint even apologise the only only thing she asked is if i didnt see the bananas before buying them, so to me it sounded as if she was blaming me whereas it's their shop to respect us as customers enough to always check the quality of products they are selling to us. she didint even apologise on behalf of the store. what are these people being taught during training? i always ask myself, they know nothing about treating customers fairly. to her as long as she refunded me that was enough.
then during the week i wanted to cook then took out the green pepper out of the fridge to chop them and found them 2 of the rotten there was even some juice coming out the whole packet was about to also be rotten. I was perplexed and didn't even have the energy to take them back. this time I don't want a refund, i want shoprite to give me fresh green peppers please. just because this shoprite is in a black community doesn't mean we should be sold rotten products and be disrespected like that. by the way i still have the till slip.
