Shoprite expired food

I recently went to Shoprite Sunday 11/02/2018 the afternoon to purchase sausages as I wanted to prepare hotdogs for the kids I bought the sausages and returned home when I got home and removed the sausages from the package I found light mould on sausages, discolouration of the sausages and a slight odour from the package I was shocked to find that the sell by date read 16/02/2018 .as a supermarket I can't understand how they can put off foods on the shelves seriously ridiculous . I've been trying to contact the number on the slip to lay a formal complaint but I get put on hold for way too long . From a very annoyed consumer.
