Shoprite expired bread

I went to Shoprite albatorn in skycity, this morning to buy my self a bread. I bought a sasko loaf and fruit juice. Come back home. Prepare my brakefast. Just after eating 2 slice, I noticed the are green dotted thing on the bread. I quickly check the expiring date only to find that, the bread expired on the 08/11/2020. Clearly someone didn't do their job. How come the is still expired food on the shelf??? Are we the community of skycity safe?? From eating shoprite food???

I went back to ruturn the bread and I spoke to manegar Betty who called 2 of his staff. 1 from pioneer by the name of siphokuhle. And the other guy I think she's under shoprite Johannes. Betty handle the situation very well. She apologized and siphokuhle even bought me another bread. I was refunded my money back.

I'm just worried and pray that I don't react bad from eating that expired bread. And even scared to go back to that store.
