Shoprite expects me to dig in the garbage

I bought chicken yesterday at Shoprite West Street and when I peeled off the skin in the evening it was all ****** and smelly, so I threw it in the garbage, when I went to report it today, they said they couldn't help me without their \off"chicken as if I was suppose to stink up my damn fridge and home with their sh*t just for \""proof\""!!!
