Shoprite doing workers bad on salary

<p>My wife works for shoprite.</p> <p>First of all when she started, there were problems with short pay and constant excuses.</p> <p>Secondly after 3 months of working for shoprite after signing a permanent contract, the first time my wife was sick,brought a doctor's note but was refused payment for that day with a doctor's note because now one has to apparently work for 6 months before a doctor's note can be accepted, new law?</p> <p>Thirdly, my wife was promoted to a better paying position, but had to work 3 weeks still on less pay, and only after pleading and asking about the pay, was it lifted to where it was supposed to be.</p> <p>Fourthly my wife is receiving weekly payment terms on permanent contract, and each week the payments are totally different. Today my wife received less than what she was receiving before the promotion. She once cautioned her superior to the fact that she would prefer resigning rather than have all these problems and was asked politely not to and the problems would be resolved. Is shoprite *****ing money from their employee's? Or maybe the wage officer needs to move on. Something needs to be done.</p> <p>According to my wife there are numerous employee's that have this same problem.</p>
