SHOPRITE DOESN'T GIVE CUSTOMERS THEIR CHANGE BACK
I stayed in Olievenhoutbosch from June 2014 until January 2016 and I've been a frequent customer of Shoprite at Olievenhout plaza. Every time I went to shop at that store I never received my change if it was 10cents or 20cents. Or if my change had 10cent in it or 20cent I never got the former or the later. Unless when I became adamant with the cashier that I wanted all my change back. I'm now staying in Mamelodi I recently experienced the same thing at Shoprite Van Der Walt street in Pretoria CBD. on 12 February 2016 at 13:41 I went to buy a can of meat***** at the store. The item cost R19.90. I gave the cashier a R20 note. She just gave me a till slip with no change. Imagine if you go to a shop everyday and every time you don't get your 10cent or 20cent. At the end of the year, how much do you lose in change that you don't get back? And this comes from the store that always says it helps people save! How am I saving on prices if I'm not getting my change back? I've been quiet about this for quite too long and today I'm complaining about it because I'm fed up with it. If my change is 10 cents, I want it. It's my money. Not giving it to me is tantamount to a *******.
