Shoprite Chatsworth - what a joke

I had a horrible experience while shopping at the Chatsworth branch of Shoprite this past Saturday (24 October)

Firstly the store was extremely busy (the queues were going up the aisles as usual) and even though the temperature outside was well over 30 degrees the store airconditioner was not working!

I would really like some one from head office to explain the logic behind this ; the store now has about a dozen brand new fridges but a broken airconditioner...

By the time i got in line my face was dripping with perspiration and it was difficult to breathe. I so badly wanted to take my mask off for a few minutes but couldnt even dare to do so since there were other customers standing less than a metre away from me (so much for social distancing)

I find it very strange that other stores and restaurants adhere to social distancing but Shoprite does not.

What started out as an impressive shopping experience quickly turned in to a nightmare and i will not be visiting the store again. I would rather shop at Pick n Pay, and tell my freinds and family members to do so as well.
