Shoprite Chamdor is selling us rotten stuff.

I bought 5kg white star milie meal on the 09th of Jan 2024 from Shoprite Chamdor, when I get home, I opened that bag...it had worms in it. I returned that bag of mielie meal. My issue was handled by some manager by the name of Ivan. He then asked the mechandiser what might be the problem. The mechandiser explained that rhe problem is not with the supplier but it is with the store...bags of mielie meal are stored in a very wron environment where there's direct sunlight. Ivan shifyed the blame by foning the supplier that is when I was given a reference number and a whatsapp contact to lodge my complain. After lodging the complain to the supplier,,,they sent me a R140 voucher. I still haven't used ot as I feel I was treated very unfairly and instead of Ivan apologising about that mielie meal...they asked me if I want to exchange it or I want my money...I then took my money. He left me there without even apologising. That R140 voucher tbat the supplier gave me isn't making any difference on the sale I lost on that day as I'm selling food to people who works around the industrial area. One of the till operators even told me I'm the 5th customer to bring back mielie meal on that day. It was such a huge inconvenience to me.
